unit 7

I usually get great help from peer reviews. Having other people openly critique your work. It's a non bias opinion that can give you opinions on how you can improve your paper. It's important to take their help with an open mind and use it to yoru advantage instead of being upset about what someone has to say. Always feel good about what you write. You should feel proud of what you have accomplished and acheived in your writing. I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a happy new year. I wish all of you and your families the best.

unit 6

The last six weeks have not been too eventful. We found out my husbands deployment will be moved up with the annoucements from the president. My mom also had to have a kidney removed. But it has been pretty quite around the house. Just been focusing on school and work. Right now I am trying to figure out how I will be able to do clinicals and keep my job I cant afford to just not work at all. I guess thats one of the joys of going back to school when your older but I am sure ill work it out some how.

Unit5

Well so far school has been going really good. I am glad that I choose to do school online. It has been so much more convienent with having to work full time also. Right now school is helping me to stay on track and feel motivated to go some where in life. I am excited to get into my career and get started on that path. School helps me to spend less money also cause I stay home to do homework instead of going out as much lol. I feel more organized and able to multi task in my life with juggling all the things I have going on. I have been able to keep up with 3 classes so far so I am hoping I can keep that up.

unit 4

I think I can see how someone might accidentally plagiarise by trying to rewrite something from a book but I think its important that we don't do that and we put things in our own words and be sure to give credit to who ever we got those ideas from. If someone took some thing I worked hard on and tried to make it out to be there own I would be very upset. You work on something and you deserve the recognition of people knowing that you are the one who created it. In one of my other classes a girl was kicked out for plagiarism so I know for a fact that Kaplan does not play when it comes to this and I fully agree with their views on that. I think taking something and putting it your own words is a great study tool case it makes you think about it in a way that you understand. I always try to be sure to cite all my sources and give credit where credit is due.

Unit 3 blog

Hey everybody! I hope you are all doing good. So far being an online student has been great. I can work at my pace, do homework when it works for me , and go on vacation without worrying about being in class. I think starting clinicals will be a change cause its more hands on but I am excited to get started on my future. I really like Kaplan. The website is easy to navigate and get around. I think I would recommend the school to other possible students. The only problems I seem to have is getting someone in the financial department to return a phone call or email but my academic advisor is really on top of things so that's good. I take 3 classes right now so I have to keep my GPA up for them to let me continue so I try to stay on top of my work but I am always open to studying ideas. I hope everyone is enjoying school as much as me and I look forward to reading other blogs.
